Description

This 4 day instructor-led class completely prepares you for the PMP/CAPM exam, including demystifying the application process. This course provides a very comprehensive review of PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide), Fourth Edition. In addition, to providing an in-depth review of "Industry Best Practices", it will serve as a valuable preparation for any one considering the Project Management Professional Certification Examination (PMP®). This course has an accompanying Online Component. There are on-line tests to build your skills as well as give you practice in "test taking" in an "On-line" environment.

Presenters Bio

Tom Walsh has been in management consulting and graduate level education for nearly 15 years. He has been an adjunct Professor with Keller Graduate School of Management since 1989, and currently teaches classes in the Keller Project Management Master Degree program.

Tom began his business career with IBM's Data Processing Division, and held a variety sales and marketing positions including Branch Sales Manager, Regional Education Manager and Manager of Marketing Programs for the Finance Industry.Tom eventually left IBM to set up a bank data processing service. It was a start-up operation that eventually processed all record keeping functions for some 30 financial institutions.
Tom has also been active in the Project Management Institute and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

There are currently over 412,503 certified Project Management Professionals. Tom was the 378th PMP ever to be certified, so he knows his subject matter inside and out and has stayed current with the many changes to the PMP Exam which have taken place over the years.Tom holds a BS degree from St. Ambrose University, and earned his MBA at the University of Chicago.
