Connie Cockrell, PMP
Director of Member Services
Connie is retired from Computer Sciences Corporation and the United States Air Force. She has 7 years of experience as an Information Systems and Project Manager with Computer Sciences Corporation in the Albany, New York area. She has 20 years experience in Information Systems Management and retired as a Master Sergeant from the Air Force. She spent time volunteering with the Fulton/Montgomery County, New York 4-H office. She served as the Volunteer Event Coordinator for one of the two major fund-raising events held by the 4H office, the Clover Combo Classic, a competitive Fun Run and Fitness Walk. Formerly a member of the UNY PMI Chapter where she held the VP of Membership position and facilitated four PMP Prep Workshops, she is now a member of the Phoenix PMI chapter. Now living in Payson, Arizona, Connie is establishing several ties to her new community, already a member of the local hiking club, the Payson Packers, and volunteering with the Arizona Cooperative Extension 4-H office.
Connie earned her Masters Information Systems from Bowie State University, Maryland in 1995. She has been a member of PMI since 2003 and earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2004.
